Tell us where you live, and we'll start a Pila Neighborhood page for you. Your community will have 2 weeks to pledge to purchase so you can access a discount.

Spread the word

Share your Neighborhood link with your community. Every Pila ordered during your block's window counts toward your total and brings everyone closer to earning rewards.

Confirm your order

After two weeks, we'll see what level of discount you've unlocked, and share a unique discount code for you to use when you purchase your battery.

Program Basics

What is the Pila Neighborhood Program?
A way for neighbors to team up: the more people in your area who sign up and buy a Pila, the bigger the discount everyone in that neighborhood unlocks.
Where is this available?
New York State only, for now. If you're outside NY, you can join the waitlist to be notified when it expands to your area.
Do I need an electrician or a permit to install a Pila?
No, that's true whether you join through this Program or not. Pila is self-install.

Signing Up

How do I join?
Sign up above with your name, email, and neighborhood. We'll follow up once there's enough interest in your area.
What happens after I sign up?
We reach out to confirm details, including your address and how many units you're interested in, once your neighborhood has enough signed-up interest to move forward.
How many neighbors do I need to get others to join?
There's no fixed number you personally need to recruit. The neighborhood as a whole needs to reach a threshold, and the more people who sign up in your area, the sooner that happens.
Is my personal information shared with my neighbors?
No, signups are only visible to Pila, not to other participants.

The Discount

What's the actual discount?
$75 off if your neighborhood reaches 5–9 total units, $100 off at 10 or more units.
Is this a cash discount, store credit, or something else?
It's a discount code, applied at checkout on a qualifying order.
When do I get my code?
After your neighborhood's confirmed interest reaches a threshold, not immediately at signup.
How many times can I use the code?
Once, on one order per household.
Can I combine this with other discounts or promotions?
Not unless we say otherwise in writing.
Does my code expire?
Yes, it's valid only while your neighborhood's Program is open. Once that closes, unused codes expire.
What if my neighborhood doesn't reach a threshold?
No code is issued for that neighborhood, but we'll reach out to let you know if that happens.

Shipping & Returns

Does my order ship with my neighbors', or separately?
By default, your order ships separately to your own address with standard shipping. If you'd rather combine shipments with your neighbors, reach out to us directly to arrange it. Combining can reduce shipping costs, meaning more savings for the whole neighborhood.
What if I return my unit?
Standard return policy applies.
Can I resell or share my discount code?
No, codes are tied to the household that received them and may be revoked if shared, sold, or posted publicly.
